| "A hidden gem, this hotel is a historic gem tucked away in the northern province of Pakistan. It has a swimming pool, excellent buffet selection, nice polite staff. Hugely spacious rooms, very grand. Hotel was actually a residence to some great emporer/mughul. Very finely crafted. Excellent variation of food. " About the city; "You need a car to get about, good road links, great river running through, where they catch fresh fish which you can eat on piers by the river bed. Food is really cheap, There were 8 of us, we ate in very local looking restaurant, you can see the food being prepared, all fresh and nice, Total cost ?4 It sooo cheap!! sO AVOID EATING IN YOUR Hotel and eat out locally. People are soo nic and friendly. MArkets full of cheap chinese imitations etc.. Peole very friendly and do not stare at you like they would in central pakistan ,if you are a foreigner or have women with you. " | |
