| "What a superb place to stay. Waking up in the old coach house with a lovely view of the downs. Not a house in sight from our room. The restaurant if superb with some of the best culinary delights for the practised pallet. Also a superb and extensive wine selection make this place a must visit." About the city; "A beautiful and peaceful town, close to Ashdown Forest which is central to the Winnie the Pooh stories. You can visit Pooh Bridge and play Pooh sticks. Visit Roos sandypit, the enchanted place, all in their natural beauty and without any touristification. There are also some lovely eccentricities like a farm where you can walk a Lama. A stunning place and only an hour and half from London." | |
