| "Arrived after dark in the evening and it was a welcoming sight to see this place when it was cold and dark outside. About a 5 minute walk from Chipping Campden high street where you can find some incredible restaurants. Rachel was very welcoming and full of information about places to eat and things to see and do while in the Cotswolds. Great bathroom." About the city; "Chipping Campden is frequently described as the "jewel in the crown" of Cotswold towns. It was an important market town on the wool trading route and a planned town in the late 12th century. It has a long tradition of arts and crafts and you can see this in the many of the shops along the high street. It has been extremely well preserved and is an excellent example of how England was before the motor car." | |
