"Bacolod City is the capital of Negros Island. It is also the liveliest city in the Western Visayas. You will find all types of hotels here from 5 star deluxe accomodation to cheap backpacker's inns. The hotels in the city are quite small by world standards with the biggest having only 116 guest rooms. It is an excellent place for a medium sized convention as it has a convention facility for 2,500 people and about enough hotel rooms to accomodate that much guests. The city has very good restaurants. "
